Past productions

October 2025: Patience

Audiences loved our modern take on this timeless G&S satire of celebrity worship, fandom and the pressure to conform, set Thursday Murder Club-style in an upmarket retirement village. And we had a blast performing it!

October 2024: Evita

‘‘Hugely professional, lively and moving’

‘Fantastic performances, stunning voices, and all on our doorstep’

‘We were blown away by the talent and professionalism’

‘We won’t bother to see it in the West End now!’

Our production of this iconic British musical was a triumphant sell-out, with a tremendous buzz and rave reviews from our audiences.

Directed by Gareth Bevan. Musical director Lee Dewsnap, musical supervisor James Hall, choreographers Karen Gravestock and Sian Bowles-Bevan. Photos by John Malone

April 2024: Seasons in Song

Songs to celebrate the seasons, including You Are The Sunshine of My Life, Mr Blue Sky, Hazy Shade of Winter, September Song and medleys from Camelot and La La Land.

October 2023: The Gondoliers

Our 120th anniversary production delighted audiences and played to packed houses. Updating the action from 1750 to the present day allowed us to examine the traditional monarchy vs republic debate through the lens of celebrity culture, adding fresh insights to this perennially popular show  – which both Gilbert and Sullivan regarded as one of their finest collaborations. Directed by Ian Nethersell with musical direction by Lee Dewsnap and choreography by Andrea Wilkins and Karen Gravestock

April 2023: Around the World in 80 Minutes

A musical journey around the world with songs from America, Africa, Europe, New Zealand and Japan.

October 2022: Iolanthe

‘A brilliant production … so enjoyable!’

‘Very lighthearted and professional – bravo!’

A steampunk-flavoured take on this perennial G&S fan favourite proved a big hit with audiences. Meanwhile the political events that unfolded during our show week – including the fall-out from the ‘mini-budget’ – proved this show’s political satire has hardly dated at all.

Directed and conducted by Steve Taylor, with musical direction by Lee Dewsnap and choreography by Susi Pink

May 2022: Trial By Music

An original Gilbert & Sullivan compilation show by Bob Salter and Terry Saunders, it imagines Gilbert suing Sullivan in the afterlife, aided and abetted by characters from the Savoy operas. Featuring a complete performance of Trial by Jury in Act 2.

‘Fresh and funny’ ‘Comedy gold!’ ‘The singing was of a very high standard’ were just some of the audience comments.

Directed by Wesley Henderson Roe with musical direction by Lee Dewsnap and choreography by Susi Pink.
