Your friendly neighbourhood community musical theatre company
Welcome!
We’re your friendly neighbourhood community musical theatre company. We perform award-winning productions of Gilbert and Sullivan shows, as well as West End/Broadway shows, at Hampton Hill Theatre each year. We also put on concerts, revues and sometimes plays in and around the Hounslow/Isleworth/Brentford/Hampton areas, and have an active social calendar.
What did our audiences think of Evita?
'Hugely professional, lively and moving' 'Fantastic performance, stunning voices, and all on our doorstep' 'We were blown away by the talent and professionalism' 'We won't bother to see it in the West End now'
Actress. Activist. Politician. Saint?
The rags-to-riches story of the most famous Argentinian woman in history – still revered as a saint by many people in her home country – became one of the most famous and successful British musicals of the late 20th century. Songs like Night of A Thousand Stars, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and of course, Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina, were massive chart hits in their own right.
The original West End production won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 1978, launching the career of Elaine Paige in the process. It was the first British musical to win a Tony Award on Broadway (in fact, it won seven) and became a film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas in 1996. And our production at Hampton Hill Theatre was a triumphant sell-out with a tremendous buzz and rave reviews from our audiences!
