Welcome!
We’re your friendly neighbourhood community musical theatre company. We perform award-winning productions of Gilbert and Sullivan shows, as well as West End/Broadway shows, at Hampton Hill Theatre each year. We also put on concerts, revues and sometimes plays in and around the Hounslow/Isleworth/Brentford/Hampton areas, and have an active social calendar.

What’s a Promise Auction? You come along and bid on things HLO members have promised to do or make. Current promises include home-made cakes, biscuits and sourdough bread, a 3-course Italian meal cooked for you, afternoon tea for two, gardening, learn basic sewing to mend your clothes, ukulele lessons and more. Have a fun afternoon with friends and help to raise money for HLO’s next production. Free entry. Refreshments provided.
Our Spring concert
This year’s Spring concert is a celebration of the crazy world of musical theatre. We’ll be performing songs from lots of famous musicals including Guys & Dolls, Kiss Me Kate, Sweeney Todd, South Pacific, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Mamma Mia and more! And we’ve got guest soloists from our sell-out production of Evita in 2024. Don’t miss it! Tickets on sale Mon 3 March.

This year's big show!
Building on the success of 2024’s Evita we’re delighted to be bringing this immensely popular and much-loved show about community, family and the tensions between tradition and progress, to Hampton Hill Theatre in October 2025. We’ll be looking for lots of people, onstage and backstage, to get involved!
We’re also looking for expressions of interest from potential directors and choreographers. If you’re interested in directing or choreographing the show, please email us on hlomusicalcompany@gmail.com with details of your experience by Fri 31 January 2025.
Rehearsals start Monday 28 April 2025.
- Mondays 7.30pm to 10pm for all
- Another weeknight, possibly Thursdays, 7.30pm to 10pm for principals once cast (from around mid May)
- Saturdays, 10am to 2pm from around mid-August.
Weeknight rehearsals are usually at St Stephen’s Church Hall, Parkside Road, Hounslow TW3 2BP, Saturday rehearsals are usually at 3rd Osterley Sea Scout Hall, Richmond Rd, Isleworth TW7 7BU.
We meet on Monday evenings
We rehearse on Monday evenings, normally 8pm-10pm at St Stephen’s Church Hall, Parkside Road, Hounslow TW3 2BP (and you’re likely to find some of us in the Cross Lances pub afterwards). It’s easy to get there by public transport.
